I’m Paula Day, CPA and Virtual CFO.
Paula Day, CPA, has spent more than twenty years leading finance across some of the most complex infrastructure and construction programs.
As Finance Business Manager for the $340 million West Gate Bridge Strengthening Program, Paula directed financial performance, managed program budgets, and oversaw reporting that supported executive and ministerial decision-making. Her leadership ensured accountability and clear visibility across one of the state’s most iconic assets.
She was later brought in to wrap up and finalise the $1.39 billion M1 Monash–CityLink–West Gate Upgrade, where she provided high-level financial oversight, reconciled project outcomes, and produced reports for boards and senior executives to support the program’s close-out phase.
Paula was also engaged as a Financial Advisor for the $300 million Melbourne Recovery and Revitalisation Funds, where she worked with executive leadership and board representatives to restore financial control, complete complex reconciliations, recover funding from the state, and deliver transparent financial reporting.
Throughout her career, Paula has been trusted at the highest levels of government and infrastructure leadership. She has advised ministers, chief executives, and boards on the financial clarity needed to manage large-scale construction and deliver results. She has led high-performing finance teams and built systems that bring structure and confidence to every decision.
